Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, Nicholas comes from a long line of musicians and entertainers. After studying English and graduating from The Ohio State University in 2015, Nicholas began work in the local Columbus theater community, with appearances in Columbus Civic Theatre's, "Taming of the Shrew", and "Macbeth", and Eclipse Theatre Company's production of "The Paris Letter." While competing at the 2018 Central Regional OCTA Festival Competition (Ohio Community Theatre Association) Nicholas took on the role of Tennessee Williams in the play "Glass" by Michael Aman. The production was selected to move on to the state wide competition in Columbus, OH and Nicholas was recognized with an Outstanding in Acting Award. He was recently featured in advertising for Elevator Brewing Company for their Uptown Pilsner, and Red, Wheat, and Blue selections, as well as in promotion for the Toledo Blade's new online newspaper The Blade Newslide. Nicholas is also an accomplished musician performing under the stage name La Poré. His single "Missing It" was featured in the latest Netflix romantic comedy, "The Perfect Date", which premiered April 12, 2019, and stars Noah Centineo and Laura Marano. The song was also a part of the film's official soundtrack. This summer, Nicholas will perform the role of Romeo in William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", presented by the Actors' Theatre of Columbus.
