Lucie Gillespie is an actress and writer with a love for modeling and a passion for strong, female-driven stories. She is best known for her work with Lunar Flame Pictures on dramatic narrative films thematically centered around finding the light in the darkness. She has found success as a writer with her short script “Akoma” winning the Grand Prize at the Detroit Channel Four Film Challenge as well as the Festival Choice Award at Trinity International Film Festival. Trinity International Film Festival most recently awarded Lucie with the Best Artist Award for another of her short scripts, “Ashes.” She has been featured in several film and theatrical productions over the years and has worked on commercials with The St. Clair County Health Department, Falcon Healthcare, and Lover's Lane. Lucie can be seen impersonating her hero, Lucille Ball, in her downtime. She is trained under Rich Goteri in Ferndale, MI and has a film production certificate from the Motion Picture Institute in Troy.
