Kelcey Steele is a formally trained singer, actor and dancer. Having been born into a family of performers, Kelcey has never once shied away from the stage. In 2011, Kelcey decided to attend Miami University where he was able to obtain two degrees in Theatre, and Public Administration. While in school, Kelcey was lucky enough to be able to play a variety of roles that helped him blossom into the well rounded singer and actor that he is today. Since graduating college in 2015, Kelcey has been lucky enough to have a prolific career in the Cincinnati theater scene. Having played leading roles with Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati, the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater, the Carnegie Theatre, and the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts, Kelcey has become one of the more recognizable names in Cincinnati Theatre! After venturing to New York City where he is currently continuing his career, Kelcey landed two contracts at the renowned Fireside Theatre in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. You may also have seen Kelcey touring the country with Celtic Angels as the lead dancer/choreographer. As a dancer, Kelcey was a competitive Irish dancer for most of his life, having recently retired from competition in the spring of 2017. Kelcey's spectacular competitive career included placing third at the World Championships of Irish Dance in 2014, as well as becoming a four time Mid-America Champion, and as high as second in North America. Recently, Kelcey passed the test to become a certified Irish Dance teacher, or TCRG, and is currently teaching with the McGing Irish Dancers.
