After a successful career as a nonprofit consultant and professional speaker, Dave Shevrin began his acting career in 2019. He is based in Detroit and is a local hire in Chicago, Columbus, Atlanta and throughout the Midwest. Dave's types include medical,legal and business professional, nice guy, family man, funny guy and eccentric older man. As a character actor Dave is able to use a variety of looks, voices and personalities to help bring the best out of his scene partners and move the story along in compelling fashion.

Dave Shevrin is an up-and-coming actor in the Detroit Metro area. Most recently, he was cast in supporting roles in “A Promise Kept” and “Don’t Judge Me”, which are both in post-production, and has parts in several movies filming this summer including “Moves of Darkness” and “Widow’s Fire”. Dave is a show host and cast member of “The Dinner Detective” and was Jacob in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”. He currently trains with Hugh Gall at the Actors Loft in Royal Oak, MI, and with Sandra K. Horner at The Performance Studios in Los Angeles, and trained with Jamie Moyer at Second City Detroit. Dave thrives in roles where he can use his talents as a dramatic and comedic actor, using a variety of looks, voices and characteristics to help move the story along in a compelling fashion.
